Troubles During My Journey

Last post dealt with how I started to like video games and when I decided to become a gamer. It was all because of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

As soon as I stuck that game into my PS3, I went straight to online multiplayer. I sucked so bad at that game. I was TERRIBLE, but for some reason I had so much FUN. It was thrilling just to be able to play with other people online even though I kept dying. Then I started to get the hang of it and I got pretty decent at the game. 

But then here comes the trouble I faced..... my MOM. Whenever she saw me play MW3, she would just flip out (because she hated guns). She would never allow me to play on school days (but I always played while she went to work) so I only got to play on the weekends. Then after a while my PS3 stopped reading discs and my brothers (who also shared the PS3 with me) split the cost to get the PS3 fixed because my mom didn't want to pay so that we couldn't play it.  After I got it fixed, I remember she tried to make me play only an hour a day. That's like 3 or 4 matches.......that's RIDICULOUS!!!!! 

I didn't think it could get any worse for me, but then my PS3 OVERHEATED and got the yellow death of light. WOW, I was just......amazed how SHITTY my life would get whenever I come near that PS3. Then my brothers blamed for the PS3 overheating.

WHAT THE HELL!! They blame me when yellow light of death was a common problem for the PS3?? 

So then I took the PS3 to some guy and he fixed it for a good price. Then a couple months later, I got the yellow light again. Then I tried finding out what was happening. I found out that I guess the older models (the fat PS3s) were made from cheap material that wasn't very good at resisting heat. Then I spent $150 to get my fat PS3 to be more heat resistant so that it wouldn't get the yellow light of death again. Then I got my ps3 back and saw a note that said: "We couldn't fix your PS3 because it was too damaged and we kept $50 because of the fees" (basically that's what they said). 

Then I just decided to buy another one that was used for $100. This PS3 was the slim one and it worked great. After that, I found out the PS4 was coming and I was excited........until I saw that PRICE. I said NO WAY, I'm going to stick with the PS3. But some of the games I want are only on the PS4 and/or  maybe the Xbox One, like Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy 15, and Uncharted 4. So I've recently bought a PS4, COD: Advanced Warfare, and an Elgato because those are some of the things that I'm going to need to start a gaming channel  on YouTube.

Well that wasn't so much was it??? That was just a brief summary of some of the things I went through for some DAMN video games. I don't know why, I just love video games!!! 

Next post I will talk more about the gaming channel because I would love advice and help from other people....because I'm definitely not an expert.
